Where Braincells Come to Die

Well…

Thank you, US Government and Obama Administration, for owning up to the fact that you folks killed 4 US citizens in drone strikes in foreign countries without judicial process. Also, thanks again for fessing up that 3 of them were “accidents”. *sigh* I don’t feel ANY BETTER AT ALL knowing that these fools currently running the show took YEARS to own up to these facts and that they can be so nonchalant about it. This is why I can’t fully get behind the death penalty. We are SO BAD, as a nation, at this “justice” system thing, that I don’t know if we’ll ever be at the point of getting it “right enough” to determine that a person should no longer be living because of their crimes.

Oh, and can we talk about the COUNTLESS number of civilians you folks have killed? Can we talk about the men, women and children that had absolutely nothing to do with this manufactured conflict that died because of signature strikes? No? Still not ready to own that yet? Well… I’ll wait.

I don’t apologize for voting for you twice, Mr. Obama. You were the lesser of two evils both times and, in the first election, I had faith in you. I drank the kool-aid and was riding the HOPE train with everyone else. I am wide awake now and left bitter. I still won’t vote Republican because those fools are insane, have an unhealthy disdain for minorities, women, and the poor, and seem to be relatively hypocritical when it comes to little things like disaster relief, but you and your party make it really hard to be proud to be a democrat.
